Charger Hellcat is Fast, but Could be Faster

Dodge Charger Hellcat
Fast start, fast response. That is how news reports described the 2015 Dodge Charger Hellcat because of one reason: it does 0-60 in 2.9 seconds and the quarter-mile in 10.7 seconds.

However, that's not the only reason why the online community exploded. It is because it could also have gone much faster than that.

In a report by TorqueNews, it was found out that the Hellcat wasn’t run full throttle during testing. NOt running in full throttle and still manage to get those numbers is totally insane.

Here’s how TorqueNews explains it:
"… when Chris Cowland pointed out that the trap speed is usually 6-7 miles per hour faster, it brings into question that 10.7 quarter mile elapsed time. If you listen to the audio in the video below, you can clearly hear the Charger let off towards the top end of the track and that is likely why it ‘only’ trapped 120 miles per hour."
