Hot Olympian: Daniela Hantuchova

Daniela Hantuchova
There is no doubt that Daniela Hantuchova is a talented, budding young star of the tennis world. While she has one singles title to her credit (won against Maria Hingis at Indian Wells), she has yet to string together consistent wins on the WTA tour.

She's fared better in ladies doubles, having won the title at Bratislava in 2000. She won again at Luxembourg in 2001, and at New Haven and Amelia Island in 2002. She's enjoyed even greater success in mixed doubles, taking home the Wimbledon title in 2001 before winning at the Australian Open in 2002. She also helped her native country, Slovakia, win the Fed Cup in 2002.

The 29-year old faced some difficulty after that when she was distressed over her parent's divorce. By the end of 2008, however, she managed to bounce back, and was ranked No. 33 in the singles.

Men also know that aside from tennis, Hantuchova is among 27-world-class athletes to have bared for the annual ESPN Body Issue. The Slovakian tennis star is seen in (almost) all of her glory, save for a strategically placed arm to cover her chest.

Speaking to the magazine, Hantuchova – known for the statuesque physique – reveals she struggles to put on muscle – despite regularly working out. She said, "In my sport, I'm not the most physical girl out there. I can work really hard lifting weights, and I do, but it just doesn't show that much."
