A Rare Find from BMW

BMW 1 Series M Coupe
There will be only 1,000 units available worldwide. Limited quantity will be provided for the Philippines. If these words don't make car-enthusiast feel like rushing to their nearest BMW dealer, we don't know what will.

BMW recently announced that production of the BMW 1 Series M Coupe has ceased, thereby leaving only about 1,000 units left worldwide. The demand for the units in the global market has spiked significantly, making it a collector’s item, so to speak.

The BMW 1 Series M Coupe delivers what M enthusiasts value most: ultimate driving delight. Its inline 6-cylinder engine with M TwinPower Turbo and gasoline direct injection develops a maximum output of 340 bhp with an engine-speed-oriented characteristic curve typical of BMW M cars, accelerating from zero to 100 kph in only 4.9 seconds.

With chassis technology derived directly from motor racing, a power-to-weight ratio reduced to 4.4 kilograms per bhp and precisely optimized aerodynamic components including innovative air curtains at the front end, conversion of superior propulsion power into thrilling driving dynamics is guaranteed.
