Unique Mario Game Is Back In Nintendo

Nintendo
The Nintendo Switch has many great new games for kids and adults of all ages.

The system also has a unique way of appealing to gamers from previous generations via retro classics such as "Metroid", "Excitebike", "Blades of Steel", "F-Zero", "Mega Man", the "Contra" series and more. This is on top of the Super Mario games from the past as well as entries from the "Zelda" catalogue.

The company offered another great reminder recently with the release of "Mario Paint" for its Nintendo Switch Online service.

Available in the Super Nintendo Entertainment System collection of games, "Mario Paint" lets users create works of art, stamps, songs, animations and even full-on cartoons on their Nintendo Switch 2 or original Switch console.

Perhaps younger folks who have been able to access similar tools on computers and phones all their lives will not be as impressed, but the opportunity was unique when the game was first released for the SNES in 1992.

If nothing else, Mario Paint’s re-release offers another opportunity for parents and kids to bond over a fun experience — and to stretch out their creative muscles together in the process.

A slick video produced by the company offers a rundown of everything the game can do.
