The MTV VMAs has been the host to some historic moments in fashion; from Lady Gaga’s meat dress and Beyoncé’s baby bump revealing gown to Britney Spears' snake scarf and Justin Timberlake's Canadian tuxedo.
The 2015 ceremony was not so different. The event added to the list of unforgettable outfits to the books.
Miley Cyrus was obviously outrageous (her skintight fruit onesie behind-the-scenes before the lavender carpet even opened up set the tone for the night), Taylor Swift was in a matching set with her entire girl gang in tow, and Vanessa Hudgens was a total boho babe.
Other attendees showed some skin with cutouts, leg slits, and crop tops, and various inventive ways to go nearly-naked while appropriately covering up for audiences at home.
