After Love for Trump, Joy Villa's Hit Takes Number One

Joy Villa
Singer Joy Villa took to the Grammy red carpet to express her love and support for President Donald Trump, and saw her music sales increase in the process.

The "Surrender" singer hit the red carpet dressed in a white gown holding a sacred heart, which she ripped off in front of cameras to reveal a red, white and blue-sequined frock, which looked like a Trump campaign poster in dress form.

On the front, the floor-length gown had the real estate tycoon's campaign slogan "Make American Great Again," with "Trump" on the back.

Following the appearance, her EP, I Make the Static, went to the top of Amazon's digital album charts and hit No. 7 on the iTunes album chart.

After she saw her album sales climb, she wrote that she was "speechless."
