Philippine Dota Team End Their Quest

PHL Team Dota
The Philippine team to Dota 2 may have failed to sustain its amazing run, but everyone in the country are proud to have them as the official representative. They also rightfully took home a prize of half a million dollars or about PhP 23.8 million!

The team finished eighth overall, but it was the highest placement for any Filipino or Southeast Asian team in the International Dota 2 Championships. The five-man TNC Team represented both their country and the region.

TNC lost to European team Digital Chaos in a best-of-three match where the winner will fight for a slot in the top three teams for the championship.

TNC won the first game, patiently nipping at the defense of Digital Chaos. But the European team later saw through the Filipinos' offensive weaknesses and took advantage, taking the second and third games.
