Caroline Wozniacki Exudes Hip Confidence

Caroline Wozniacki
Tennis player Caroline Wozniacki is the sort of sunny blonde who exudes warmth even in gray weather. Fresh from shooting a cover feature for Alexa at a Beverly Hills mansion on an uncharacteristically moody LA day, she is sporting a hip, happy Sachin & Babi top and matching skirt with a graphic blue-sky print, looking one part tennis ace, one part glamour girl.

This summer, says the 25-year-old, "marks my 10th anniversary on the tour. Ten years ago, I was just a little girl with dreams of becoming one of the best tennis players in the world." A decade ago, that inexperienced 15-year-old debuted and was beaten handily by Patty Schnyder of Switzerland at the Western & Southern Financial Group Women’s Open in Cincinnati. "I lost 6-3, 6-0. It was a pretty big beating," she adds with a thoughtful smile in her slightly accented but perfect English.

Since that inauspicious first match, Wozniacki has grown into a certifiable tennis superstar. With a former world No. 1 ranking, 23 WTA titles, lucrative endorsements from Adidas and Rolex, high-profile romances with top athletes, and a celebrated friendship with on-court rival Serena Williams, the Danish stunner is the undisputed sweetheart of the sport.
