Husqvarna's Old Concept for the Future

Husqvarna Bike
The past is the key to the future. That's what Husqvarna is looking at when it designed its modern bikes.

The 401 Svartpilen and Vitpilen are a pair of concepts based on a new scrambler-style bike that are inspired by the company’s mid-century designs.

Both are powered by a four-stroke single of unspecified size, and feature modern monoshock swingarm rear suspensions and rectangular LED headlights surrounded by a ring of light. Their flat-top tanks and saddles riding on a trellis frame.

The Svartpilen is the off-road version, fitted with MX handlebars, knobby tires, engine shield, under seat exhaust pipe, small cargo racks on the tank and behind the single seat, wave brake rotors, plus a rock guard for the headlight. The tiny fenders don’t look like they’ll do you much good in the dirt, but it is a concept and very different than anything in Husky’s current lineup.
