Roush Mustang Is Now Reporting for Duty

Roush Mustang
The Ford Mustang is ready to serve the U.S. Military, but not in the battlefield.

Members of the U.S. Armed Forces will have the first opportunity to pick up a pony car designed just for them. Two limited edition Roush Mustang Warrior models are now being offered through Military Autosource, which facilitates discounted sales and delivery services to military and diplomatic personnel deployed overseas.

The custom cars feature either the Mustang’s 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder Ecoboost engine or a Roush Performance supercharged 5.0-liter V8 that pumps out 627 hp.

Both are fitted with raucous Roush exhaust systems, Ford’s factory performance packages, and unique body kits and graphics packages with “Warrior” badging. The interiors also get the Roush treatment, with additional Warrior logos added throughout.
