It was recently announced that Tiger Woods and U.S. Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn just broke up.
The break-up was announced on 3 May 2015, the ninth anniversary of the death of Woods's father, Earl.
"These three days have been brutal on me. It's tough," said Woods, 39.
"It's tough. Obviously it does affect me. On top of that, this three-day window from 3-5 May is always really hard. I haven't slept."
The former number one golfer was previously married to Elin Nordegren, a Swedish former model and, just like Vonn, a blond.
Woods and Nordegren were married in 2004, at the Sandy Lane resort in Barbados, and lived at Isleworth, a community in Windermere, a suburb of Orlando, Florida. The couple's first child, a daughter named Sam Alexis Woods, was born in 2007. Woods chose the name because his own father had always called him Sam. Their son, Charlie Axel Woods, was born in 2009.
Woods and Nordegren divorced on 23 August 2010 after a supermarket tabloid The National Enquirer published a story claiming that Woods had an extramarital affair with New York City nightclub manager Rachel Uchitel, a claim she denied.
