Did Xbox One Outsell PS4 Last September?

Xbox One Sales
If Microsoft was able to effectively promote Xbox One and outsell Sony’s PS4, then they better promote whoever is in charge and give him or her a hefty pay out.

GamesBeat reports that in a recent note to investors, Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter estimated that the Microsoft moved 325,000 Xbox One units in the U.S. last September while Sony ended the month with 250,000 PlayStation 4 sales.

The figure cannot be confirmed yet, but if it is true, then it is an incredible feat considering how heavily Sony and Activision marketed “Destiny” last month as a PlayStation 4 title even though it launched on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One simultaneously.

One reason for the increasing sale is because Microsoft offered "Destiny" for free for each Xbox One console and later released a "Madden 15" Xbox One bundle for US$ 400. This means savvy consumers could get two games for the price of none when purchasing a new Xbox One.
